Tiger Woods has reportedly returned to Switzerland to continue his rehabilitation treatment following a brief visit back to Florida, according to multiple media reports. The 15-time major champion was seen leaving the United States aboard his $50 million Gulfstream V private jet after recently spending time in Florida supporting his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, who publicly revealed her breast cancer diagnosis.
Woods, 50, initially traveled to a rehabilitation facility in Zurich in early April after his March 27 DUI-related rollover crash near his Jupiter Island home. Court documents stated that Woods required an “intensive, highly individualized and medically integrated program” away from public scrutiny, prompting a Florida judge to approve his overseas treatment request.
According to reports, Woods spent approximately 40 days at the Swiss facility receiving physical and psychological treatment, including alternative pain-management therapy following years of injuries and surgeries. Sources close to the situation said the golfer has been working to manage chronic pain without addictive opioids.
The golf legend was arrested after authorities said his vehicle clipped a utility trailer before overturning. Officers reportedly discovered hydrocodone pills on Woods, though he registered 0.00 on a breathalyzer test. Woods later pleaded not guilty to DUI-related charges and is expected back in court in July.
Woods has since stepped away from competitive golf, withdrawing from the 2026 Masters Tournament and removing himself from consideration for the 2027 U.S. Ryder Cup captaincy while focusing on his recovery.
