For Erin Grier, golf has always represented more than a club, a ball and a scorecard. It represents opportunity, community and the ability to bring people together. Today, the Atlanta entrepreneur is turning that lifelong connection into a business with ETees Golf, a young, culture-forward brand designed to give golfers a fresh perspective on one of the game’s most familiar accessories—the golf glove.
Grier’s introduction to golf came at age eight, when he watched Tiger Woods on television and became intrigued by a sport that seemed worlds away from his everyday experience. His interest eventually led him to Atlanta’s First Tee program, where he remained active through high school. The experience gave him an opportunity to compete in local tournaments while learning the character-building and life skills that are central to First Tee’s mission.
For Grier, those early experiences helped change his perception of golf. What initially appeared to be an unfamiliar and somewhat exclusive environment became a place where he could connect with other young golfers and discover the sport’s ability to unite people from different backgrounds.
That lesson would eventually influence his approach to business.
After high school, Grier joined the Naval ROTC program and graduated from Florida A&M University’s School of Business and Industry in 2015. He subsequently spent seven years on active duty in the U.S. Navy as a Supply Corps Officer. His combination of business education, military leadership and firsthand experience in golf provided a distinctive foundation for entrepreneurship.
In 2025, Grier launched ETees Golf with a mission to diversify the game by providing golf products aimed at today’s young professionals. The brand was born in Atlanta and reflects Grier’s belief that golfers should not have to sacrifice individuality for performance.
ETees’ first collection, Jupiter 0, takes a familiar piece of golf equipment and gives it a more contemporary personality. The company’s gloves use AAA-rated Cabretta leather, Interstellar-Grip technology, breathable flex zones and reinforced stitching. The gloves are available in multiple sizes for both left- and right-handed golfers.
But Grier sees ETees as more than a golf-glove company.
The brand’s philosophy is built around the idea that golf is a lifestyle and a community. Its messaging speaks directly to golfers who may not have traditionally seen themselves reflected in the sport’s image. ETees emphasizes individuality, accessibility and self-expression while maintaining a focus on performance.
That positioning is especially relevant as golf continues to attract younger and more diverse participants. Rather than simply telling new golfers that they belong, Grier is creating a brand designed to make them feel represented when they arrive.
ETees established an early retail presence at Crystal Lake Golf and Country Club, giving the Atlanta-based company an important connection to golfers in its hometown market. From there, Grier has continued developing the brand through digital content, golf blogs and social media while exploring opportunities to expand its presence at additional golf facilities.
The company’s growth also reflects Grier’s broader entrepreneurial mindset. In January 2024, before ETees’ 2025 launch, he was featured on the “Legacy of Leaders” program, discussing leadership, business and personal experiences.
Today, ETees represents the next chapter in a journey that began when a young Atlanta boy saw Tiger Woods on television and wondered what golf might offer him.
Grier discovered that golf could provide much more than competition. Now, through ETees Golf, he is working to make sure the next generation discovers that same opportunity—with a little more style, personality and a fresh grip on the game.
Product Spotlight: The ETees Jupiter 0 Golf Glove is currently listed at $15.99 on the company’s online store, while the newer Gen 3 Cabretta Leather Golf Glove is listed at $24.99.
