African American Golfer’s Digest Launches
AAGD-TV With The AAGD Golf Report

New York, NY, January 11, 2011—The African American Golfer’s Digest, the nations leading print publication and online portal for avid black golfers announces the launch of AAGD-TV, its online version for providing breaking news and information to a strongly growing Internet-based society.

“African Americans are becoming heavy users of the Internet and surfing the web in growing numbers, never, ever seen before,” said Debert Cook, publisher of the African American Golfer’s Digest. According to Ms. Cook, “For this particular reason, along with the fact that golf is the fastest growing sport among African Americans, our publication rolls out AAGD-TV as a provision for servicing our Internet savvy market base with golf news that relates particularly to our audience.”

It’s first episode is “The African American Golf Report,” produced and hosted by Gary Anthony Ramsay, an award winning anchor and television journalist with more than 20 years of television and radio experience. The AA Golf Report feature profiles new comers Joseph Bramlett (PGA) and Shasta Averyhardt (LPGA), two rising African American players who received the Tour status cards earlier this year. The Report also comments on the 2010 scandle of Tiger Woods and his professional life lows. Stephen L. Reed also is mentioned for his success as a rising golfer.

The publication counts it an honor to be able to share the AAGD Golf Report online for web visitors to enjoy and plans to continue rolling out new episodes every 8-12 weeks.
