It was a family affair for pro golfer Willie Mack III at the PGA TOUR’s 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic hosted at Detroit Golf Club in Detroit, Michigan, July 1-4.

Mack had the support of family members from aunts, uncles, cousins, and others, who were onsite to cheer him on. Mack, a sponsor exemption and Flint, Mich. native, finished the tournament T-71 at 4-under 284. In a post-tournament interview the 32-year-old said, “It was a good start, but just making the cut and being able to play on the weekend in front of my friends and family is exciting.”
