Linnet E. Carty, Senior Director of Community Engagement for Arcis Golf, was honored at the 21st Annual African American Golfers Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2026. Held at Eastpointe Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, on May 24, the event brought together golf industry leaders, pioneers, and advocates to celebrate individuals whose contributions have advanced the game and business of golf.

One of the evening’s most memorable moments was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to 106-year-old Herbert Dixon, whose remarkable life and contributions inspired everyone in attendance. The ceremony also celebrated the newest Youth Hall of Fame inductees and welcomed distinguished guests, including Jonathan Snyder of the United States Adaptive Golf Alliance (USAGA).
In accepting the honor, Carty expressed gratitude to the African American Golfers Hall of Fame, her family, mentor LaJean Gould, colleagues past and present, and Arcis Golf for their support throughout her career.

Arcis Golf is one of the largest owner-operators of private, resort, and daily-fee golf facilities in the United States, with a portfolio of more than 70 clubs nationwide. The company is recognized for its commitment to exceptional golf experiences, community engagement, and growing the game through innovative programs and partnerships.
Carty said she was humbled to receive the honor and proud to share the recognition with fellow inductees and others whose work continues to make a lasting impact on the game and business of golf.

Founded in April 2004 in West Palm Beach, Fla., by Malachi Knowles the African American Golfers Hall of Fame honors African Americans who have made significant contributions to golf through playing, teaching, administration, business, media, and community service.
