Augusta, Ga., is a buzz about the upcoming 2020 Masters. As this Savannah River town ramps up into high gear, the third major of the year– the MASTERS–will tee off off at Augusta National Golf Club on Thursday, Nov. 12. The 2020 Masters field is plastered with major champions including Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka.  Hords of fans will be watching this event whose membership at Augusta National is widely considered to be the most exclusive in the sport of golf across the world.

Accompanying the excitement of the tournament are the millions of fans who enjoy purchasing Masters merchandise and souvenirs; surely, the 84th Masters will be unlike others over the years as patrons won’t be allowed on the grounds due to the coronavirus pandemic.

So just how will fans of the Masters be able to get their merchandise fix? Consider this, 2020 Masters Merch goes on sale at a patrons only shop and many items can also be found on Ebay with fall-themed prints, holiday offering and prices that favor Gnomes, a mythological creature with a diminutive spirit introduced during the Renaissance.

On Monday, November 2, the doors swung wide open for the first-ever Masters “patrons-only” shop. Ticket holders were notified by email, and yes, it has a spectacular offering of items to select from, including caps, jackets, neckties, cups/mugs, socks, posters, duffle bags and a variety of swanky clothing and trinkets. These logoed items are usually sold on-site at the Masters tournament, but this year, with the Masters ban on spectators, Augusta National has, for the first time, made its merch available to ticket-holders and an assorted few others in a digital marketplace.

Average prices for souvenirs at the new online store are:

Baseball caps – $20
Bucket Caps – $39 and up
Bag towels – $18 and up
T-shirts – $29.50 and up
Polo shirts – $75 and up (Bobby Jones brand most expensive)
Balls – $44 for dozen, $11 for sleeve of 3
Umbrella – $45
This year’s tournament will be played Nov. 12-15

Cufflinks

No one knows just how long these items will be available in the online store or on Ebay. Neither is it know how popular the items will be among Masters ticket holders, but what is a fact, is that we are highly unlikely to see another Masters in November anytime soon. As such, this makes this year’s gear even more spectacular and collectors could have a field day gathering up the unique products.

This oddity of November 2020 Masters Merch offerings is one to consider when looking for one of a kind items, collectibles and unique holiday gifts.
