Announcing the formation of the Metropolitan Jewels Ladies Golf Club, Inc., formerly the Brooklyn Chapter of the Black Jewels Ladies Golf Association, Inc. The golf club is committed to introducing and stimulating interest in the game of golf to women in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, said a communique sent to this publication from allaccessgolf.com
“We are committed to facilitating an environment that fosters camaraderie and enjoyment. We will continue to cultivate our relationships with the local golf club venues, the golf community, as well as community organizations,” stated Cynthia Hall, president of the newly formed club. Activities and rounds of play will take place at courses in New York City with most being planned at Marine Park Golf Course.
