As a pair, the International Junior Golf Tour (IJGA) and the Heritage Academy, both based in Hilton Head Island, SC, are dedicated to the success and growth of each student in both academic and passion areas.

In the last few months of the 2013-2014 academic year, golf phenom Bria’ Sanders along with fellow senior students spend their time focusing on their studies, taking college preparation exams including the SAT’s and further pursuing their passions. During which, IJGA student Bria` Sanders of Cordova, Tenn., was recognized on March 6, 2014 for her college commitments as she round out her senior year.
During a ceremony before family, friends and proud staff, Sanders signed with the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD Atlanta) in Atlanta, Ga. to become the newest member of the women’s golf team. SCAD Atlanta women’s team is currently ranked 18 nationally in the NAIA polls and the school specializes in curriculum for artistically talented students like Sanders who have a passion for creativity and innovation.
While at the IJGA, Sanders excelled academically and became a member of both the National Honor Society and the National Junior Honor Society. Sanders also excelled outside of the classroom and on the golf course where she embodied the true meaning of a student-athlete.
Playing in International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) events all four years Bria’ has spent with the IJGA, she has 3 victories and has placed in top-10 in 32 of 39 events played. Based on the Golfweek/Sagarin Junior Girls Rankings of the Top 100 Girls Class of 2014, Sanders ranked 87th nationally. Sanders plans to study fashion design.
