Seated Trunk Rotation exercise can improve the strength and speed of your golf swing

by Aaron Cammon
  • Begin seated normally with your feet flat on the floor and shoulders and hips square to each other (squeezing a foam roller in-between your legs will help stabilize and keep hips squared).
  • Engage core and rotate the torso to one side.
  • Your feet and knees should not move.
  • Hold this position for 1-2 counts and then repeat on the remaining side.

Benefits:

Trunk rotation exercises increase your core strength and improve overall balance, flexibility, and mobility of the spine. This exercise can greatly improve the strength and speed of your golf swing! These exercises also reduce lower back pain in athletes and non-athletes alike!
