Business Leader and Author Dr. Randal Pinkett to Be Honored;
Proceeds to Benefit the Men of Essex Student Aid Fund
FLORHAM PARK, NJ — The Men of Essex, Inc. will host its 65th Annual Men of Essex Golf Classic on Monday, August 3, 2026, at the prestigious Brooklake Country Club located in Florham Park, N.J.
One of the organization’s signature fundraising events, the annual Golf Classic supports the Men of Essex Student Aid Fund, which has assisted deserving students throughout Essex County for generations.
This year’s Golf Classic will honor Dr. Randal Pinkett, Chairman and CEO of BCT Partners, for his outstanding achievements in business leadership, entrepreneurship, advocacy for business equity, and longstanding commitment to community empowerment. Pinkett is nationally recognized as an author, entrepreneur, lecturer, and corporate strategist.
Founded in 1958, the Men of Essex has maintained a proud tradition of civic leadership, scholarship support, mentorship, and community service throughout Essex County and beyond. The Golf Classic annually attracts business executives, elected officials, civic leaders, educators, clergy, golfers, and supporters for a day of fellowship, networking, and philanthropy.
The tournament will feature a scramble format competition with championship foursomes, men’s, women’s, and mixed flights. Special events and contests will include Team Low Gross, Hole-In-One competitions, Longest Drive, and Closest-to-the-Pin contests.
Among the featured attractions will be a Hole-In-One Prize offering participants an opportunity to win a late-model luxury automobile courtesy of Open Road BMW of Edison, New Jersey, along with a $10,000 cash prize.

• Registration Opens — 10:00 a.m.
• Barbecue Luncheon — 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
• Golf Tee Time (Shotgun Start) — 12:30 p.m.
• Lounge by the Pool — 1:00 p.m.
• Cocktail Reception and Dinner (Open Bar) — 6:00 p.m.
Tournament organizers note that guests may participate as golfers, dinner attendees, sponsors, or poolside guests during the afternoon networking activities.
