Then, it just so happens that before she left town, the TPC was hosting its American Express Play Golf America Womens Golf Month event and we were able to make good on our promise. This was my very first introduction to golf and much to my surprise, I was smitten,” says Powell.
Powell has taken formal golf lessons with the renown ‘King of Swing’ Glennon Bazzle, USGTF (Birmingham, AL) and recalls getting her first golf clubs and shoes, “A red pair and blue pair.”
