Errol Jacquet Windham Wins NBC Sports Emmy Award

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) presented its 43rd annual Sports EMMY Awards and among the recipients is Errol Jacquet Windham. The coveted award recognizes outstanding achievement in the promotion of creative leadership for artistic, educational and technical achievements within the television industry.

Originally from Orlando, Fla., Windham, 48, is also known as “ErrolJay” and received his EMMY for Outstanding Technical Team Studio Super Bowl LVI Pregame Show NBC (2021-2022).

Errol graduated from the University Central Florida (UCF) in 1997 and worked in technical support at the Orlando Centroplex before and after college graduation. He has been employed with NBC Sports in Stamford, Connecticut since 2020 serving as Technical Manager.

Prior employment includes the Major League Baseball and Madison Square Garden in New York City and the Amway Center in Orlando. Windham has served in roles as Engineer in Charge, System Technician, Producer, and Technical Supervisor. The accomplished guitarist who played in his high school and college jazz band is a father of two. He and his wife Rachael reside in White Plains, NY with their son (Isaiah) and daughter (Hannah).

“His commitment to excellence in his profession makes me quite proud,” said his father Otis Windham. “I know he likes the work and I am happy that he is happy.”
