Mystic Dunes Golf Club’s Course to Undergo Full-Renovation

by AAGD NEWSWIRE

Mystic Dunes, a Hilton Vacation Club near Orlando, Florida, will renovate its four-and-a-half-star-rated, 18-hole, 72-par public golf course.

The course was originally designed by Champions Tour Player and NBC Golf Analyst, Gary Koch, and the goal of this renovation will restore the course back to its former glory days. Once complete, the renovation will reposition Mystic Dunes Golf Club as one of the top golf experiences in the greater Orlando area.

Renovation improvements include:

  • Resurfacing greens to be restored to their original shape and size with Tif-Eagle Bermuda grass.
  • Level and re-grass tees, fairways and rough using Celebration Bermuda grass.
  • Overhaul and restore bunkers and dunes to their original shape and condition.
  • New driving range tee, chipping and putting green, all enlarged and resurfaced.
  • Improve and repair drainage throughout the course.
  • Significant tree enhancements around the property with native trees and wildlife.

The course is anticipated to reopen sometime in September 2023. Periodic updates will be shared via email and posted on Mystic Dunes Golf Club’s social media channels.
