Ypsilanti, Michigan – July 1, 2026 – The Sifford Golf Academy proudly announces the launch of its inaugural academy, an immersive, invitational golf and leadership experience designed to identify, develop, and inspire talented young golfers from diverse backgrounds while honoring the extraordinary legacy of Dr. Charles L. Sifford, the pioneering golfer who forever changed the game.
Eight elite junior golfers have been selected to participate in the inaugural Sifford Academy – Four young women and Four young men – all between ages 12-17, each bringing their own unique skills and talents to be further developed. We will officially announce their commitment in the coming weeks.
Participants will receive world-class instruction in every aspect of competitive golf while developing the leadership, discipline, confidence, and life skills necessary for success both on and off the golf course.
