Today was another productive and fast-paced day. We woke up at 4:00 a.m. and headed out to work on the bunkers once again. I’ve really gotten the hang of it now—to the point where I can rake and finish them on my own. It’s become a nice part of my morning routine. Throwing on some music while working, watching the sunrise, and staying active first thing in the morning has been a great way to start the day.
After we finished, we ate breakfast and headed back because the professional golfers were out practicing. That gave us a nice break in the middle of the day, so I went over to Dreamville to get some sleep and recharge before we all met back up later in the afternoon.
We met back up at 4:00 p.m. for lunch, where we had burgers and fries. Then, at 5:00 p.m., we got back to work smoothing the bunkers for the next day’s play. It was a great shift because I spent more time talking and laughing with some of the crew while we worked, which made the time fly by and made the job even more enjoyable.
Overall, it was another great day to wrap things up. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be here, continue learning, and improve every day. Each day I become more confident in the work, meet more amazing people, and appreciate this experience even more
