We are excited and counting down the days until we journey to Ghana, the heart of the Motherland. We will be visiting Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, that was built as a fortress but turned into a holding place for enslaved Africans before being sent across the Middle Passage in the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. Here you will pay a solemn homage to West African ancestors and enter the “Door of No Return”.
At this time you need to:

Check your passport and make sure it does not expire before 2/4/2024 (6 months after return date).
#2.
Get your yellow fever vaccination. Please review the CDC recommendations for other health considerations HERE.
#3.
Get your VISA. a passport and verification of yellow fever vaccination are required to obtain visas. Visas are valid for 3 months from date of issue. You will apply for the visa early June.
#4.
A total amount of $2275 payment per person needs to be in by the end of February. The remaining $2100 per person needs to be paid by 5/26/2023.
