When you got Golf’s Royalty in Annika Sorenstam, Baseball’s Hall Of Fama John Smoltz, and Canada’s favorite daughter Brooke Henderson in the same group you know you’re gonna be in for a treat, and that’s exactly what the fans at the LPGA T.O.C. season debut tourney got on Friday’s 2nd round at Lake Nona Country Club.

Canada’s Brooke Henderson got off to a better than average 36-hole start, at the T.O.C. She’s-11 after two days trying to survive Lake Nona’s fast, undulating, greens.  It’s not uncommon to have multiple 3-putts around this track.

Henderson had only 1 bogey in 36 holes.  She’ll take that in any tournament she enters, I’m sure?

She also played alongside and in front of Annika Sorenstam, LPGA Hall of Famer and Living Legend.  Annika is also a resident at Lake Nona.

When asked about Brooke’s stellar play, Annika replied that she spent most of the day saying “good shot”. Brooke finished the day 4 shots ahead of her closest pursuer, World No.2 ranked Nellie Korda, England’s Charley Hull and China’s Wei-Ling HSU are 5 shots back.

Henderson said it was her first time ever playing alongside Annika, who played good enough to finish second to tennis great Marty Fish, in the Celebrities Competition.

The weekend at Lake Nona is shaping up to be something super special and entertaining.
